I purchased this watch a little over a month ago. Having recently graduated from college, I wanted a watch that was more sophisticated than what I had been wearing. Needless to say, when I came upon Stuhrling Original, I was nothing short of impressed. I fell in love with the watch when I saw it online. After researching and reading as many reviews as I could find, I knew I had to see what this watch and this company were all about.

br /First of all, when you receive the watch, it is packaged exquisitely. It is a joy to open the case and see everything that is contained inside. It is immediately evident the care and precision that goes into the packaging and know that the watch will have been built with even more care. The watch is even more stunning in person than the photos allow you to see. It is a sturdy watch with nice weight to it. I can really feel that I am wearing something of notoriety when I wear this watch. When I first put the watch on, the band was quite stiff but it has become very soft and comfortable over time. Do not be discouraged if when you first put the watch on it is uncomfortable. In a short time, it will feel great.

br /Overall, I am very pleased with this timepiece. In the future, as I look for more watches, I will undoubtedly look at Stuhrling Original first.

My boyfriend loves to collect watches, and let's be honest there are watches out there that are EXTREMELY expensive. I first saw Stuhrling on QVC, and I was impressed with the watch as well as the presentation. I knew my boyfriend's next watch would be a Stuhrling, and the perfect opportunity presented itself this month (his birthday). The presentation is as fabulous as I remembered, and the watch was BEAUTIFUL. They even give you that "whatchumacallit". I have no idea what it is called, but it allows you to set the dials. Instead of trying to find a pen cap or bobby pin to press the setting button. You also get a cleaning cloth, and this is the best part....just for writing this review, and letting them know about it, I get a free one year warrenty extension (on top of the two they already give me).

I have always wanted a nice, elegant watch, but never really took the time to search out one. However, my fiancee decided to pick one out for me as a Christmas present (much to my surprise) and I am absolutely delighted with the result.

br /As this is my first "real" timepiece, I do not have a lot to compare this to, but the watch was presented in exquisite packaging, is very solid feeling, and simply beautiful in craftsmanship.

br /I typically do not like to wear extra things (i.e., jewelry), but I am finding that I can adapt to this watch well. I like the weight of it and the band is relaxing (though there was some initial discomfort due to stiffness).

br /Also, of note, I have large wrists and am happy to report that the watch band does fit. The leather will also stretch out a little over time as you wear it.

br /Overall, this watch was a perfect gift and I am delighted to be the proud owner of one. Do not hesitate on this timepiece!

I own some very collectible, expensive swiss time pieces and when this one came along at $159.00 (special deal on Amazon), I thought I'd give it a try. I have to admit that this watch is an original time piece with an excellent automatic movement and it should cost well over $1000.00! Thank you Amazon, once again for providing such a great deal (I got a ball cap too!). Time pieces now adays are made mostly in a stamp factory (Rolex ETA movements) and cost more than they are worth. I'm guessing that I'll have this watch for 20 years and it will become a collectible, and if I want, I'll be able to sell or trade it for 10x its original value. I can't recommend this watch enough. As soon as I'm done with this review I'm going to order another for myself and get one for my wife as well - check these beautiful, highly functional, classy swiss time pieces out for yourself.

From the moment I opened the box I was impressed. From the overall presentation of the watch, you immediately know that you have purchased a luxury timepiece. The movement of the watch is very smooth, the detail in the watch face is amazing. Everything about the watch is proportionate. The large face sits well with the band width and the crown doesn't dig into your arm when the watch slides down. The quality leather used in the making of the band still leaves you feeling that you watch is secure without the weight of the metal bands. Everything about the watch is extremely pleasing, and I can guarantee that this watch is not going to spend much time in its box!

This is the second automatic watch from Stuhrling I've purchased. The quality and style is amazing. I absolutely love this watch.
