Description:

Featuring the utterly recognizable, minimalist look of Movado's famed Museum Watch, this Movado Rondiro features a uniquely designed bracelet composed of interlocking rings. The silver dial includes just the signature single dotted marker at 12 o'clock--evocative of a sun dial--and two silver hands. Nicely svelte on your wrist, it measures 25mm wide (0.98 inches) and has a recessed crown. Powered by a precise Swiss quartz movement, it also features a highly scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and water resistance to 30 meters (100 feet)--enabling it to withstand splashes and accidental dunks into the water, but not suitable for swimming.

This is a beautiful piece of jewelry as well as a functional timepiece. I would caution people to pay attention to the warranty information. I called Movado, after speaking to Amazon customer service, and Movado does not service the warranty if the watch is purchased from other than a Movado-authorized retailer. They do not consider Amazon an authorized retailer!! It turned out that Amazon has a jewelry department that will service this warranty. I wish the product description had been up front about all this. I also think Amazon customer service should have had this info, so I would not have had to call Movado myself. That said, I got a gorgeous watch at much less than I would have paid elsewhere.

I returned this watch. It is not as described. The dial is a mirror. It is NOT silver. When you look at it you see your face and it looks orange.

This is another slightly different Movado, but it is less extreme in its departure from the standard bands. The band has a "heavy metal" feel to it that my lady tells me feels very good on her wrist. And it looks beautiful. Can be a casual "bangle watch" or an elegant evening watch.
