So far this watch is everything I'd hoped for. I've already scratched the band up a bit by wearing it to dive, play sports, and just doing everyday activities, but still not a scratch on the face. Sapphire crystal is the only way to get these results! Worth the money.
Great watch !

I have one and am a big fan of the brand, and of this watch. The build of this watch is excellent. The materials, fit, finish, everything is excellent. The sapphire crystal is important to me, because I have a Luminox with a mineral crystal, and it has a really tiny scratch. Sapphire is just tough. I promised myself that when Luminox came out with a steel watch with a sapphire crystal, I would get one, and this is a fantastic watch. What I particularly like about this watch is, it looks simultaneously "dressy" but also sporty and "military" without being "rambo-like" or over the top (it doesn't say "Navy Seals" on the dial, but has the SEAL symbol (the "Budweiser", as the Seals call it, on the back). I really like this watch a lot. The price is fantastic, too. You will not get a watch of this quality and functionality at this price.
Great for what it is.

Its not a Rolex, IWC or a Jaeger. But it is a fantastic watch to wear every day, with either casual or somewhat more dressy attire (it goes equally well with a jeans a tee shirt as it does with a sharp casual suit... anything more formal than that could be pushing it though).
br /
br /It is very sharp looking, and you don't see many other people wearing it (I've never seen another one), and it is often mistaken for a much more expensive item... an uncle of mine (who REALLY knows watches) asked me honestly if I paid $1000 for it. It simply looks like a premium item.
br /
br /As far as durability goes, I've worn mine daily for almost six years now, and I can honestly say that that it is still in fantastic condition, and that there is not a single blemish on the face. The sapphire crystal is 100% worth the money. There are some scratches on the bracelet, but overall its almost brand new still.
br /
br /The luminous dial and hands also come in extremely handy. You can't imagine how bright this thing actually is.
br /
br /If I have one gripe, its that the second hand ticks in seconds, instead of sweeping like more expensive pieces do. Its the one giveaway that its a sub-$600 watch, and in my opinion, cheapens an otherwise high-end look.
br /
br /If given a choice between this and, say, a mid-range TAG, I'd take this any day.

Very nice watch. It looks great. I really wondered how well the light source worked before I bought it but now that I own it I am very impressed. I will never by a standard"glo-in-the-dark" watch again.

I purchased this watch because I own two other Luminox watches and have always been very happy with them. The quality of these watches are superb and I have never had a problem with them. This watch is handsome and functional without being flashy or bulky. The dark blue dial is a nice deviation from a black face too, and although the online photo cannot show such a thing, this blue dial has a very cool reflective sheen. What I really like about any Luminox is the luminescent dial. When I am sleeping in a tent, I can easily see what time it is, and when driving at night I don't need to turn on the dome light. This watch is very accurate, waterproof [I will never test it to 200 meters] and versatile. A solid watch for the man who loves the outdoors! Excellent price too on Amazon. Sells for twice that retail or other online sellers.

I received this watch today, in the black face, model 3202, but decided to place my review here so it will be grouped with the others.

br /First of all this is a great price at Amazon. When I purchased my Citizens Eco-Drive diving watch seven years ago, the Luminox rubber strap models were going for well over $400.00 locally. I hadn't heard of it at that time, so I went with the Citizens - also $400.00. It's been a good watch, but my first impression of this Luminox model is that it's superior. The screw down crown, which is nicely sized instead of a little bump, finds its thread perfectly. The time and date setting are also decidedly pronounced to the touch. These seem like marks of excellent machining and design. I also like the feel of the bezel when rotating. You feel and hear the click of each minute as it is being set for elapsed time.
br /
br /The appearance in person is much nicer than the pictures dictate, but it's also a little smaller and lighter than I expected. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice chunk of metal to sport on your wrist, and it's heavy enough. It's dressy, but not too "pretty", and it's not too rugged looking either. Feature wise, it's just like you read. Saphire crystal, stainless steel, rotating bezel, and the Navy Seal emblem on the back of the case. I was a little worried that it might illuminate too much at night (like while driving), but it's just right. The entire dial and handset are identifiable at once. I don't scuba, but every now and then I do snorkle, so I like the idea of a well constructed watch. With any luck this will hold up as long, hopefully longer, than my Citizens.

br /My one reservation is that the brushed stainless almost passes for aluminum, which to me sort of cheapens the look. I would have liked it better if it were a little more the color of nickle. But, I also don't care for the dark look of titanium, so I'm sure it will grow on me.
br /
br /Another thing I wish it had was a more explicit manual. I like the fact that fact that Wenger tells the buyer exactly how many jewels comprise the quartz movement. But there again, when I saw the exhaustive list of Government agencies that use these watches, I figured it's probably a moot point.
br /
br /As of the time I purchased it from Amazon (June 2008) this watch is all over the Internet for prices ranging anywhere from $40.00 to $250 more. I just hope it's the same watch, features and quality wise, as the rest of those. Marketing wise, it's a little weird to me to see such a disparity in price.
br /
br /Bottom line is that I think it's a good watch for a good price.

This watch is everything the add claims. My husband almost bought a Rolex a few months ago, but prefers this watch over anything he's seen. It looks awesome with both dress and casual attire, and it keeps perfect time. I can't believe I found this kind of quality for such a good price!
