Great watch. Velcro works well. My son loves it. A few weeks ago we though Mom had last it for good, so I ordered a replacement. About a week into the replacement, she found the old one. Now he has 2 and I can't tell which is the new one and which is over a year old.

This watch is perfect for my son who needs a reminder every two hours to go to the bathroom. This was the main reason for our purchase. The countdown timer is perfect because it automatically starts counting down for the amount of time programmed, once the alarm has sounded. That way I don't have to set a timer every two hours which would be very inconvenient. There is a separate timer that can be set at a set time every day in addition to the countdown one. My son is 7 and this watch is too complicated for him to program himself but that is not a problem for me. He can put the watch on by himself because of the velcro band. He's able to hear the alarm and take responsibility to get to the bathroom on his own. It's a great price and has become a priceless tool for our family. I highly recommend it!

I bought this watch for my 13 year old Grandson. He loved the look and every time I see him, he is wearing it. He plays soccer and rides a skate board and the watch is holding up well.

EASY to read. May get one for my Mother. ;-)
br /Easy to set. The yellow buttons are not as ugly in person.
br /I was truly tired of the same ole same ole digital watch look. My boy likes it too and that is what matters.

I would recommend this watch for any boy - it looks great and has 2 alarms for reminders - great for getting out the door on time in the morning! It also has a timer function that automatically resets - great if he has to take medicine a set number of hours apart. I've noticed he also has improved in his time-telling ability analog and digital by wearing a watch. My son has this same watch in blue - I bought this one as a backup in case he loses the first one. This watch was a little hard to find - I was thrilled to finally find it!

I own this watch and it is pretty good, but after a while the light wore out (of course, I used it for about half an hour every night for about five months) and the velcro eventually wore out and now it is hard to keep on. If you need a watch for a year or so, then I strongly recommend this, but if you are looking for a permanant watch that you're keep for years and years and years and years and years and years and years and years and years, then I recommend a leather-strapped one.

MY SON IS ONLY 5 SO IT WAS DEFINETLY A GOOD BUY FOR HIM. HE IS VERY SMALL BUT THE WATCH STILL FIT HIS WRIST AND EASILY ADJUST TO FIT.
