I wanted a watch with a metal band and a large analog dial. I wasn't quite sure that I would like this watch when it arrived. It was a women's style, but it was larger than I thought it would be. I had to first take it to have some of the links removed, but I was amazed at how light it was when I had it on. I love the easy to read face and the indigo feature is a must for any watch you own. I wear it everyday and I love it. It arrived with a brand new battery and the stem was pulled out so you knew the battery was new. I recommend this watch.

I'm very happy with my new watch. I had to have several links removed from the band by a jeweler, but now it fits perfectly. The style is just right for my casual lifestyle and I like the "silver and gold" combination for coordinating with other jewelry. And for senior eyes, the numbers on the dial are big enough to read easily.

This is a watch that is very functional for everyday use. For the money, you cannot beat it. It is easy to use whether in the shower or swimming, and handy to see in the middle of the night or in a movie. Goes with anything and is easy to put on and take off.

This watch is a great looking watch and the indigo light gives it all it needs to meet your everyday use. Because of its gold tone and silver tone band you don't have to worry about what color jewelry you wear with it because it matches it all. Well worth the price.

I am delighted to get my new Timex watch. It is even prettier than its picture! It is easy to set, too. I bought this watch for its looks and the larger dial, so I am very satisfied. It will need links removed, but one size just doesn't ever fit all!

I really like my new Timex. It is very classy looking and the face is very easy to read. I like the date feature and the lighted face in the dark. The only drawback was, I had to take it to my jeweler to have some links removed, but the charge was minimal. All in all, good value for the price.

I'm absolutely thrilled with it! My husband was able to take off the necessary number of links for me (no jeweler needed). The Indiglo is a fantastic feature as well as the date. The fact that you don't have to wind and wind the hands to get the correct date is a definite plus. It's also nice that the face is an "easy reader" watch, and yet it's pretty enough for many ladies.

I can't believe how many people miss the point of having a long watchband. If you have a large wrist you have a devil of a time finding a leather-band watch long enough. The point of the long metal band is that women with large wrists can wear it, and women with smaller wrists can take out, or have a watch repair person take out, as many links as necessary, and even put some back in if you gain weight or your wrists swell (along with your feet, hands and everything else) in hot summer weather. Come on, people; be thankful for this advantage, and remember to save the links removed in case you need to put them back later.

This is not an ordinary Timex. It's heavy, and a good-looking, everyday, women's watch. I love the size of it, the heftiness, and the overall good looks of the gold/silver. Goes with anything. The Indiglo feature is just an added bonus. I did have to have some links taken out, but that wasn't a problem at all. Even the jeweler who took care of this for me commented on how great it looked and the weight of it, given it's a Timex.
br /The only negative is the date feature. True, you can pull out the little knob to adjust the time, but I even set the date at midnight last night, and it's still showing a day ahead of what it is. I'm constantly having to adjust the date. It doesn't stay with the correct date. But, being that that's the only negative, I can live with that. Overall, this Timex is NOT typical of most Timexes you see these days in stores. It's an expensive looking watch. A Timex has always been a great time keeper...now, it's a GREAT LOOKING time keeper. They need to make more Timex watches with these great qualities.

I bought this watch for all the features that other reviewers liked. It's dial is large enough to be easily read but still dressy; the light is wonderful for night time viewing and the bracelet goes with any jewelry. As reviewers stated the bracelet is very long and most women will have to have it resized.

br /Unfortunately, my watch does have a problem. It stopped everyday for the first two weeks, but if I reset it it would continue to run until the next day. By this time I had the bracelet resized and couldn't return it to Amazon. It now has run for 3 days without stopping but is losing a minute or two each day. I will probably send it back to Timex for repair. I would hope this is an uncommon problem based on the 21 other reviews I read before I ordered it. I do love the watch- it was a good choice, despite the problems. One recommendation is to hold off resizing the band and watch it for a few days before wearing it so you can return it to Amazon in an unworn state, if necessary

I love this watch. It's beautifully tailored/styled, nice weight, and keeps perfect time. I have a very tiny, boney wrist and had to have 7 links removed, and it still fits perfect and feels good - doesn't flop around. It has a pinch release clasp, which I really like due to my clumsy fingers. You can also light up the dial to see the time in the dark, and it's very easy to read the dial. The only negative is the date feature (on the number 3) which I find is hard to see. You can't beat the price for this beautiful, hard-working watch.

purchased for my wife - she loves it. didn't know when you push the stem the face of watch glows with a light. this was a pleasant surprise - I bought because of its look and got this extra surprise. Only drawback is you have to take to jeweler (or WalMart) to get wristband adjusted.

Really like the watch - nice value for the money. It's attractive and practical. However, the instructions on how to adjust the band are intended for several different models so it was difficult to decipher how to adjust.

br /Adjusting the band was a challenge, but did NOT require a jeweler. We used a cheap earring post to pop the links apart. You can probably use a pin, but have to be careful not to stick yourself. It wasn't the easiest thing to do, but wasn't rocket science either.

Needed an inexpensive watch for an upcoming trip and this seemed to fill the bill. I like the large face, the practical two-tone design, and the lighted dial. It is a little heavier than I expected and, like most, I had to have a number of links removed. (I did try to do this myself but ended having it done by a jeweler for $5.) The large "fold-over" clasp still makes it a little uncomfortable. For someone with a small wrist like mine, it might be better to choose one with an expansion band or strap.

I got this watch to replace another Timex I'd had for over 10 years! Timex is the ONLY watch I will wear. The only complaint I have is I've had to replace the battery already and I've only had it for a couple of months! My other Timex went for 10 years with a only one battery replacement in all that time! Maybe this will be the one time replacement I have to do on this watch...we'll see. Other than that, I love the watch. The face has numbers that are very easy to see and the two-tone color matches everything I wear! I would buy this watch again.

I purchased this watch to replace another Timex Indiglo that was showing signs of wear on the band (replacement for original band) and the watch shell. The watch itself is still going strong and I have every confidence that this watch will hold up just as well and serve me for years.

We have tried other more expensive watches only to consistantly grab the Timex watch over and over again. This is my wife's new favorite.

The watch arrived in a timely manner and was exactly as advertised. I took it to a jeweler to take a few links out so it would fit perfect. I love the indiglo feature so you can see what time it is in the dark if you need too. Great watch!!! I would definitely recommend it.

It is just what I was looking for. I wear it everyday and fits with any kind of outfit. It's classy and useful.

This is a very nice, classy watch. I was a bit leery of the size, but it is very nice. The band is long, but I was able to remove links myself - even though the instructions that came with the watch are wrong. The pins need to be pushed out in the direction of the arrows (I used a thumbtack), then pulled the rest of the way with needle nose pliers.

This watch is all that is advertised. I did have to take out some of the links in the bracelet to make it fit, but am happy with watch. It looks great, keeps good time, has Indiglo and is water resistant. Great buy!

This is a great product. I love that it is both silver and gold to match any type of accessories. The face is easy to read and it also has a date which is helpful for the forgetful or disoriented person... And, you can't beat the price. The bracelet is easy to adjust just using a pin to remove the extra links.

The Timex Indiglo watch I'd worn for years recently died. I loved it so much I searched for another as close as possible to my original. This one fit the bill. It's two-tone, has date function and the improved slide fastener on bracelet. My only complaint was that the bracelet was a little difficult to adjust.

THE INDIGLO PART OF MY OLD AND NOW DISCONTINUED TIMEX WATCH DIDN'T WORK AT ALL AND I NEEDED A REPLACEMENT. THIS MODEL LOOKED BEAUTIFUL ONLINE AND NOW THAT I HAVE IT AND SET IT, IT'S EVEN MORE BEAUTIFUL. THE WATCH CLASP IS RELATIVELY CLOSE TO WHAT I NEED AS I USE ONLY ONE HAND AND IT'S EASY TO LATCH AND UNLATCH. THE TWO TONES MAKES IT EASY TO CHOOSE GOLD OR SILVER JEWELERY DEPENDING ON WHAT I WEAR. I CAN CHOOSE TO WEAR IT WITH CASUAL CLOTHES OR FORMAL WEAR. THE INDIGLO IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME SINCE I HAVE POOR NIGHT VISION AND WITH POOR LIGHTING IN PLACES, I CAN SEE THE TIME AT NIGHT.

I'm very disappointed that the watch is so heavy. Also the band is very large on my wrist and it is not easy to take out the links to adjust it smaller. I will need to pay someone to do this, since my husband said it needed special tools. I thought I could just slide it up my wrist but it unlatches instead. I like the easy to read face, date and the Indiglo Night Light features. I do hope it does not cost to much to fix the band and that I can get used to the heavier watch. I'm a Timex owner for over 40 years but next time I will just shop at a store and try it on!

This thing hung as loose on my wrist as if it were sized for a gorilla. It felt heavy and clunky. If you have a slender wrist I do not recommend it.
