We bought this watch for my 8-year old-- who loves it. We deliberately wanted him to develop his time-telling skills (i.e., no digital watches please!), and have a "cool" watch, too. The velcro strap, the second hand, water-resistant qualities ("I can wear it in the shower, Mom!"), and the indiglo face (very cool in movie theaters) made this a great buy.

This is a very grown up looking watch and my son who is seven, loved it, but it bothered him that it didn't fit very well. The velcro part didn't go very far so it was too big and we ended up putting this one away for maybe next year and buying another timex that was easier to adjust, which worked pretty well by the way.

Our son really likes this watch, with its easy-to-adjust velcro wristband, glow-in-the dark display features, and "grown-up" appearance. Within two weeks of receiving it, however, he noticed that it stopped running. Long story short, the watch needed a new battery. We had it repaired locally rather than go through the inconvenience of obtaining postal insurance, shipping it back to the seller, and waiting who-knows-how-long to get it back. Since it's a water-proof watch, there was an extra charge to re-seal the casing after replacing the battery, requiring an additional investment of more than 50% of the watch's original purchase price. I will purchase future watches locally, rather than through the mail, since it would be much simpler to resolve these type of problems.

Very well satisfied . It's great for a kid to learn to tell time,and the design with velcro strap makes it very adjustable.

I purchased this watch for my son's 7th birthday. It's velcro wristban makes it easy for him to put on and take off by himself. He loves being able to keep track of his own schedule which leads to less conflict. "You can watch TV until 8pm." "Be ready for dinner at 7:30." I would recommend this for children who can tell time and like to be independent.

I bought two of these watches for my sons who are 9 and 6 for Christmas last year and they absolutely love them. It keeps great time, the numbers on the dial are clear and easy for them to read, and the light feature is a plus! Great buy for the money.

Just broke today - a little over 1 year of daily wear. Went to a watch repair thinking it was the battery, but it had broken instead. For the price, pretty reasonable for a kid's tough use of 1 solid year.

I got this as a first watch for my son and he loves it. The indigo feature is his favorite. He was the one who notice the seconds on the outer frame of the watch and said this would help him learn to tell time faster.

My 10 year old son is thrilled with his watch. He likes that it is water resistant and has the wrap around wristband. This is the first analog watch he has had, and he has mentioned that it makes him feel more grown-up.

My 12 year old son loves this watch. He finds it very easy to operate. This is the 2nd watch of this kind that I bought. The 1st watch was damaged when my son jumped into the pool with it on. It said it was water resistant, so I told him he could wear it in the pool. I was wrong. The facing was so full of water, you could barely tell what time it was, and the light stopped working. It is a great watch, as long as you don't get it wet.
