Very nice first watch. However, not for a boy. It has a small face and a thin band. Perfect for a girl. Not masculine enough for a boy.

I got this after my Fossil watch battery and strap needed replacement and the store people told me it would be 27$ and 6 weeks to have those replaced. I wanted a no frills usable watch with clear numbers - and this is just what this is.

br /I'm 32, and though this watch is marketed as kids watch (including the cute loss policy - if it gets lost in the first year, you can get another one for 10$) there's nothing childish about the way this watch looks. It's very well made, not plasticly at all, and just really cool. I was afraid that because it's marketed for kids, the strap would not be long enough, I'm pretty small and I wear this on the second smallest hole, just like I did with my old non-kid watch.

i was very disappointed in the color of the watch band. There was no color listed in the discription of the watch, so I assumed that the color that was shown on the website was the color of the watch band. It looked black and when I got the watch it was a little lighter than a navy blue color. With the white face it did not look like something a boy would wear.
