Description:
The Timex T78131 Youth watch is reliable, durable, and readable in the dark, thanks to the integrated Indiglo night-light, but it's also flat-out fun to wear. This quartz analog watch features an easily readable, full Arabic numeral display and smaller 5-minute notations on the outside of the dial. It also has a small ladybug that rotates around the dial with the hands, and a comfortable elastic fabric strap (for better dirt and stain resistance) with ladybugs against a purple base. This watch also offers water resistance to 30 meters (100 feet), durable translucent purple resin case, different colored hour and minute hands, and Timex's unique Kids Loss Protection Plan. It's recommended for children ages 6 and older. p The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. p Timex understands that kids often lose things, even their most prized possessions, which is why this watch is covered by the Timex Kids Loss Protection Plan. If the watch is lost, Timex will replace it with the same style (or similar if your style is not available) at the price of $10 for up to one year from the original date of purchase, with no questions asked. Details are included in the printed instructions that come with the watch.Get more product details from Amazon

I'm 60+ and I love this watch. I react to metal, and with this watch no metal touches my skin. It's comfortable, easy to read, and really low cost. It is also colorful and fun. I've had a couple of the same style watch and love them.

We bought this watch for our daughter as a gift when she passed her school test on telling time. She loves it! We are pleased with its sturdiness also.

This is one of three I bought for Christmas. All three girls really like these watches. They are just like they were discribed. No one has had any problems with their watches.

It has the minutes labeled in 5 minute increments increasing until the 30. After the 30 the numbers go backwards, 25, 20, 15, 10 and 5...so that it tells how many minutes to the hour not how many past the hour. This is very confusing to the child just learning how to tell time. I like the colors; pink, purple and blue go with most little girl outfits.
Bought two of these....

I bought two of these watches. This one stopped working completely after 2 months, the other one doesn't keep time very well. It is always 5 to 10 minutes behind. You have to adjust it almost everyday, so you can kind of guess the time later in the day. If you need an accurate watch, I would not recommend this watch. If you just need a toy watch, then this is the watch for you.

These watches are colorful and appealing to kids. I like the stretchy wristband. It makes it easy for kids to take off and on. A good value.
Disappointing clasp

I was surprised by the "slide" clasp on this watch. It's easy for the band to slide thru and fall off, especially with active little hands. Other watches tell you in the description what kind of clasp it has (a buckle is what I was expecting) but this one does not give that information. I think I'll return it even though it's a nice watch. It just won't work for my active little girl.
I love this watch!

From my 7 yr old's mouth: "It's so cute--A ladybug for the second hand!" Indeed, this watch is not too bulky for little kids. The stretch band is easily adjustable and does not scratch them like the velcro ones. Besides, what's better than her own words above?

Perfect for teaching kids to tell time on their own. Divisions for 5 minute groups and easy to read numbers assist in counting. And stylish to catch their eye, in many themes. Replacement policy seems generous, too.
