Description:
The Timex T78141 Youth watch is reliable, durable, and readable in the dark, thanks to the integrated Indiglo night-light, but it's also flat-out fun to wear. This quartz analog watch features an easily readable, full Arabic numeral display and smaller 5-minute notations on the outside of the dial. It also has a small helicopter that rotates around the dial with the hands, and a comfortable fabric strap (for better dirt and stain resistance) with camouflage pattern. This watch also offers water resistance to 30 meters (100 feet), durable translucent green resin case, different colored hour and minute hands, and Timex's unique Kids Loss Protection Plan. It's recommended for children ages 6 and older. p The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. p Timex understands that kids often lose things, even their most prized possessions, which is why this watch is covered by the Timex Kids Loss Protection Plan. If the watch is lost, Timex will replace it with the same style (or similar if your style is not available) at the price of $10 for up to one year from the original date of purchase, with no questions asked. Details are included in the printed instructions that come with the watch.Get more product details from Amazon

My grandson thinks it is the greatest gift he has ever received. Keeps perfect time; great educational value; very "boy" looking.

I bought this watch for my 7 year old son who is a huge lover of Helicopters. He has been absolutely thrilled with this watch. His favorite part....The fact that it has the indiglo feature. I'm sure we will be buying batteries often as he tends to constsntly push the button to make the dial light up at night. This watch has proven itself to be very kid friendly and I am very glad I bought it.

Purchased as a gift for my 5 year-old son. We were leaving for a trip the next day and I wanted something to distract him from the "when will we be there" routine. Even though he is not yet adept at telling time, I was able to tell him that we'd get there when the little hand is on the 5 and the big hand is on the 12. Letting him watch while I set the time gave him a chance to see how the hands relate to one another (one revolution of the big hand = one number advance of the little hand). Also, I like the fact that the dial is numbered not only with the standard 1-12 (hours) but is also numbered with the number of minutes ie: at the 1 is also a 5, at the 4 is also a 20, etc. Since he had expressed interest in a Superman watch, I was a bit afraid that he would not go for this non-superhero theme. Turns out that he loves the camo band and the helicopter second hand. The elastic band appears to be very adjustable. I had no problem setting it up for his wrist. Overall a great value. Ordering and shipping was both simple and flawless. I consider this one of the best deals that I managed to score for the holidays.

Purchased this watch for my 10 year old son. I thought it would be nice for him as he is old enough to find one really useful and it was on sale. Product arrived right on time, performed just as promised and my son loves it. Good deal.

I bought this watch for my son who is 8 years old and it is great! It has the minutes on the outside dial of the watch, which is helping him to learn how to tell time quickly. He also really likes the helicopter that is the seconds hand and the indigo glow light. The band is made of stretchy material that is soft and really comfortable.

These arrived nicely. I ordered two and noticed immediately that the tag price was 19.99. I felt I had gotten a discount and no SH. These are for ages 57 mostly to learn to tell time the old fashioned way. I know my grandson will love the camo style. If it quits, I also know that Timex will take care of it. I like the adjustability of the band and it seems to be secure.

Fit and finish for this cute little timepiece was good. Crystal was clean and clear and expandable band was straight and easily adjustable. Initial time adjustments and the night light worked well. Have had this Timex for 30 days with no problems. I'm happy with the purchase and the great price.

I bought this watch for my son who is learning to tell time. He loves it because it is camouflauge, I love it because he is learning to tell time. And the strap is really nice. It isn't plastic and won't break.

I purchased this watch for my son who wears it everday now! The second hand is really cute and creative since the helicopter moves capturing each second. What I also like is how my son announces the time now for the family indicating that his confidence about time telling has grown. When I purchased this watch, I bought another watch for my daughter at 3x the cost, from another merchant. She never wears it and indicated this morning that she can't find it! I highly recommend this purchase, it's worth it!

This watch is great for kids because of the elastic band so they can take it off easily. My kids sleep with theirs they like them so much! But, it's a great watch for kids learning to tell time, with so much digital information around them sometimes its hard to learn the old fashioned way-but not with this watch! My kids remind me of the time and I ask them, "What time is it?" They used to always ask me for the time, now it's the other way around. I think it's a great starter watch and the color and theme is perfect for a young boy.
great when learning time!

I purchased this watch for my son's 7th birthday in August, and it was a hit! He loves the way it looks, and so far it has been very dependable. It's great because it is not digital, so it reinforces time-telling skills.

I searched everywhere for a boy's watch that reflected what my son loves. This one is perfect and will grow with him. The second hand is a helicopter that ticks all the way around. Soft, comfortable band and easy to read.

I ordered two of these watches. One for my 8-year-old son and his best friend. One box came in a gray packaging dated 2005. The other box came in red packaging dated 2007. Both watches worked. The boys were so excited when they opened them! They love to play "spy" missions and pretended to "talk" with each other through the watches. My son's friend has a hard time reading analag watches. Both of the hands on the dial are different colors. The smaller brown hand tells the hour and the longer green hand tells the minutes. My son's friend could now tell time without getting confused!! That was priceless. The band on the watch is a stretchy comfortable material that is very easy to adjust and it velcroes back to itself. The boys' favorite part of this watch is the indiglo nightlight on the face of the dial. I would buy this for any child without hesitation.

We bought this watch for our five year old son. He loves it and keeps it by his nightstand each night when he goes to bed and puts it on first thing each morning. It has become a great tool as we begin to teach our son how to read time. We also like it over digital watches since all the clocks in our house and his school are analog. The only downside is it has begun to lose time. Not sure if we simply need to replace the battery but it is losing about 5 minutes a day. If the battery replacement fixes this then I would give it the full five stars as this watch is a great value for the money.

My 7-year-old grandson really feels like a big-shot with this watch. His dad wanted him to be comfortable with a traditional timepiece instead of digital. Turns out that the traditional hands of the clock are a big hit with my grandson too. And a couple of his little friends have been heard to say something like, "That's something a grown-up wears." I compliment Timex on this product!

I bought this for an adult who loves funky watches and it was a big hit. I was worried that the watch band would be too small, but the elastic made it a perfect fit. She is tall and thin, so I wouldn't recommend for everyone. It was a cute extra in the birthday bag. I think any kid would love it. My big kid did!

We had this watch less than a month and it was not keeping time properly. We have returned it to Amazon for an exchange. We had a similar Timex watch for a year and a half. The timing mechanism went bad and was not repairable.
