For its cost, this watch surely is a excellent buy. Other features that I like are the 10 year battery and 100m water resistance. In India, once a watch is opened, the water resistance is gone, as it is almost never re-sealed properly - which is where the 10 yr. battery is very important. The footprint is not very large (like those from Fossil), so it looks good on an average man's wrist. I surely recommend it for a casual watch.

This is an excellent watch and at this price...totally amazing..It says battery life is 10 years..very light and decent watch..worth buying it..I sent it to India for my father and he loved it.

In the first palce, I wanted a reliable watch like Casio, low priced, yet shows good taste, for my every day use. This watch is in fact far more than I expected, based on it low price tag. It is really v. well built with elegantly styled metal band and dark blue dial. It is designed in a classic way that would stay in style as long as its battery goes (10 Y).
br /I beleive this watch will stay with me for some time, till I just get sick of it, as it looks like it can really hold up for years of use.
br /I totally recommend this watch for anyone who wants somthing decent in value and looks for, a v.decent price.

Good price for a watch that offers 10 years battery life, great for everyday use.

I was about to replace my Citizen Eco-Drive, when I found out about this Casio. It looks great and the battery last for 10 Years. My Citizen Eco-Drive died after 10 years of use. The finish is not as smooth as a Citizen, but for the price which is almost 1/10 of a Citizen, it's worth every single penny.

(Note: This review is for the above watch's predecessor. I've owned the watch for 12 years and it still runs, so I thought I'd contribute my two cents based upon my experience.)

br /The watch I own is exactly the same as this one except its watchband links are slightly different and the date window is at 3 rather than 4. Other than that, it's the exact same watch. I bought it 12 years ago and it still runs perfectly (its accuracy is about -1 minute per month). I've dropped it multiple times, accidentally sent it through the washing machine several times, scraped it, knocked it around, etc. and it still looks good. The crystal is very scratch-resistant. The band is comfortable and the clasp still holds firmly. Considering I purchased it so long ago and it was probably on the store shelf a while, I'm amazed the battery hasn't died.

br /Although many would undoubtedly love this watch, I particularly recommend it for those who work with their hands such as landscapers, mechanics, plumbers, etc. It's handsome enough to look professional for clients and rugged enough to really take a beating. Also, it's thin enough that it lays on the wrist without getting in the way of what you're doing and it's not heavy.

Well i bought this watch for my boyfriend for an early Christmas present, so he really hasn't got to use it yet. I just coundn't pass it up because it was on sale and there was no shipping and handeling fees for that day only. My boyfriend is sure to love it because he's not really into all that high-tech stuff. So if you're looking for a simple, but expensive looking watch this is the watch for you!!!

I bought an identical watch several years ago. Its still keeps time. Its beginning to show some wear, but considering the amount of abuse over the years it doesn't look bad. All the watches I owned in the past were lucky to last 6 months. This watch does take a licking and keeps on ticking. After searching and finding the identical make and model on Amazon.com, did purchase new one. The old watch still doing great and decided to use the new for dress up. love this watch. very sturdy and can last for a long time. my husband had one like this one for 5 years. i bought him a new one cause he scratched up the glass working in the oil field and it is hard to see the time. great watch if you want a nice watch to last you a very long time.

Looks are great.With a battery life of 10 yrs, that the manufacturer's claim, it is a good value for the money paid.

This watch replaced my Tissot PR50, a $250 watch. This Casio is more than comparable to such a pricey watch. What you get for $30 is simply too good of a deal. This Casio is classy yet functional.
