This sporty chronograph watch from Movado's Gentry series offers a wealth of timing features as well as handsome styling. It has a round silver dial with three subdials featuring 1/10th of a second, small seconds, and 30-minute registers. The dial also features bold Arabic numerals at the 12, 3, and 9, and a date window at the six o'clock position. Luminous hands and markers make the dial easy to read, even at night. The dial is housed in a solid steel case and framed by a steel bezel with engraved hour markers and attractive coin-edge detailing. It presents on a satin steel link bracelet with polished accent links and fastens with an invisible double-locking clasp. Other notable features include a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and precise Swiss quartz movement. I have been in the market for a classy silver watch that can be worn with business casual attire on a daily basis.

br /There are a few things I look for in watches that have a metal band (or also called bracelets when metal but only called bands when leather always found that odd), first of all they must be constructed in a high quality manner as to not have space between individual horizontal connectors which can pull your hair out (vertical connectors will always have some type of space but they are usually not the root of hair pulling since they are smoothed and not tight).

br /Secondly depending on the metal and connectors the band can also make a sound. The high quality bands have a much deeper sound or dont make one at all because once again the type of connectors/construction.

br /Next is the thickness of the complete face. Having a thick face makes balance very poor (causing it to spin around on your wrist a lot) and more susceptible to scratches and getting banged/caught on other objects.

br /Finally of course, the aesthetics, this watch for me absolutely perfect. It blends in nicely and nothing really contrasts with eachother.

br /Still going strong, this watch is more of my Daily Driver and puts up with a decent amount of abuse from me. The Face is still unscratched and gorgeous as ever, the small chrome highlights thorughout the watch have not even begun to fade or show any serious signs of wear.

br /The double clasp at the bottom is solid as it was when new, and too date have had ZERO hairs pulled out :)

br /Another one of my better purchases in recent years I must say.

br /Also as a Public Service I purchased a Movado for my wife which was twice as expensive and was gold, it has been about 16 months and the gold is half worn off, so I would steer away from those movados that are two tone.

This transaction was flawless. Amazon is a great seller! Communication, price, and customer service was superb. Regarding my new watch, the item came in with all the pertinent warranties and paperwork. Besides that, the best price I was able to get at a local authorized distributor was $750 with a 2 year warranty. In order to get the 5 year warranty you would have to buy the watch directly from Movado at full retail price.

This is a nice watch, I was using it couple of weeks after the purchase. May be it doesn't reflect good on my wrist, not using it anymore on day to day basis.You should goto a dealer and try it out first.
