I bought the luno movado on a cruise ship back in July . I fell in love with this museum watch. price didn't matter. Anyway buy this watch on amazon and save alot of cash.

The Movado Luno watch is truly a beautiful timepiece. The watch has a nice weight to it, and feels like it is well constructed. The watch was heavier than I thought it would be, but that is a good thing. There is quite a bit of stainless steel going on with this watch. Absolutely a classic watch.

br /The price that Amazon is selling this watch for cannot be beat, period. Don't even bother looking around!!!! The band adjustment is super simple. The Movado bracelet has tiny screws for the link attachments, not those annoying pushpins. All you need is a tiny screwdriver. Literally takes about 1 minute to take out a link or two. Awesome.

Purchased the Luno from Amazon a few weeks ago, product arrived in all original packaging and was very obviously never taken out of the box before. Looks great, and the price is just fantastic. I took the watch to a Movado store for sizing, the same watch was over 2X the price in the company store! No hesitations at all in recommending this watch, you will not be disappointed.

If your looking for a watch with looks that will catch your eye than this is the watch for you.

This is my third Movado. It is rapidly becoming my favorite of the three, due to its absolutely stunning bracelet. That sculpted half-moon design, the high polish, and the simple Museum dial all combine for one absolutely amazing timepiece.

I am very satisfied with the look and feel of the watch. You either like the look of the numberless face or you don't. I happen to like it's understated looks. Sometimes less is more! You can't beat the price on Amazon,the cheapest I have found it in my area is $550.00.

I collect fine watches mostly I have collected high end Citizens and 1 Buliova. I could never AFFORD a Movado...Well My wife works at a MAJOR Chain jewelry store and at her employee discount AMAZON BEAT the price buy a whopping $150. I got my Movado YOU CAN TOO! Now the ggag is on Jan 10, 2008 a guy comes in my wife's store all full of himself wanting to but this watch at a discount well my wife uses me as a prop and I come over and say yep dude she can't go under the $850 asking price. So the manager comes over and does her song and dance and he buys it for $722.00 HA! I paid $405 for the same watch!!!!! I love Amazon!

This is a nice watch which complements a Movado Military (back museum dial) in my collection. No complaints. It is simple and attractive.

I purchased this as a wedding gift for my husband. He loves watches. This watch was perfect for the occassion. The quality of the watch and packaging were great. The price was the best I found after lots of searching.

br /Reliability is also a big plus with Movado. I have a wind-up Movado pocketwach from 1905, and it keeps better time than a Seiko I had a few years ago. Generally, if you take care of your Movado, it will last for a very, very long time. The Luno looks to be no exception to this rule.

br /Movado this the right thing with the choice of crystal. The Luno's sapphire crystal is a must have for something this pricey. Expect this crystal to be in great shape 50 years from now when it's time for you to pass this down to your son.

br /The band is the bomb . . . almost. Obviously, the unique draw to the Luno series is the half-moon design. At least that's why I bought it vs. the other models. The butterfly clasp design conceals the latch mechanism for that continuous look, though their fedora "M" logo is acid etched on the last link. So why is the band only almost the bomb? It's heavy, and it's a bit too easy to scratch. I guess that's what you get with stainless steel though. I'm wondering if a titanium band would have done a better job dropping the weight and improving on the hardness.

br /All of this for under $1000. I love that Movado is on the low-end of the high-end watches. For $409 (what I paid), this watch is more stylish and gets more compliments than Rolex, Omega, Longines, you name it. It keeps time just as accurately, and it draws just the appropriate amount of attention in the board room.

br /I haven't been able to find any compelling deals on watches between the $500-$1000 mark, keeping in mind that this watch is ~$450. If you have a budget to stay under $1000 for a watch, then buy two of these.

Received the watch and am very happy. I went to the jewelry store and tried the same watch on and it was $1000!! I would definitely recommend trying it at the store before you buy because $400 is a lot to spend on a watch but I would absolutely recommend this Movado. I didnt get a Movado warranty but Amazon provides the same warranty period as Movado so nothing lost there. Great buy, Great Price, Great Watch.

I ordered this watch for my 18 year old son for an "Easter Gift". He said all of his friends have nice watches! Now he has the nicest one of all. He was absolutely thrilled! It is not too big, and is not "overwhelming" on his wrist! I think you will love it!

This amazon deal on this watch is almost too good to be true! This watch is literally $995 at any jewelry store. The only drawback is that there is no warranty, but who needs a warranty when with the money you save, you can just buy another one and a half. However mine is still tickin' perfectly. I remember ordering it, it came 8 days later with the free shipping option, I anxiously ripped open the box and when I opened the case, there it was in all it's glory and just absolutey beautiful! I did have to get a couple links remove, but then a again, I'm a really tall dude with small wrists. Beautiful watch, unbelievable price, will make you look and feel like a million bucks! Buy it immedediately without hesitation and you won't regret it! Oh, and it's also even more beautiful than the picture!

I fell in love with this watch once I received it. I bought this watch for my boyfriend as a xmas gift. He really likes it too. It came in two boxes with tags. We even brought it to a Movado store to have it looked at and also to remove some links.
br /The silver face is something different from the typical black face Movado's so I really am happy with this purchase. I only wished they had a matching woman one especially with the price I paid for.

I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas; it was the perfect gift. He wanted a watch, and I insisted it was Movado. While he doesn't like the black face with the silver, he loved the silver face. It has that Movado-look without being too much. It's not plain enough to be an every-day watch, but it looks great when he's dressed business casual.

Have always been a big Movado fan but this is my first purchase. Incredible online price. The silver face is what jumped out at me. Watch arrived in perfect condition, no issues at all. Indicator on the back states that I shouldn't have to change the battery until 2014. Quality is expensive, but not too expensive. No regrets at all

This Movado Luna steel watch is heavy weight but very elegant. It is attractive and was a great value.

Nice looking watch at a great price. Just take it to your nearest movado boutique and have them adjust the links to fit your wrist, if need be. It will cost you $20, since you didn't purchase it at the retail store. Once you adjust the links you can't return it, so make sure you want it. I wouldn't let any other store adjust the links, unless you don't have a mavado seller next to you; doing so might void the warranty. Double-check your warranty.

You are foolish to read this and NOT make the purchase. The watch is absolutely stunning. I teach a youth group weekly. One of the teens saw the watch on my wrist and commented "wow that watch has no numbers. cool." and then he had a conversation with himself as if he were wearing it and a friend asked the time: "hey dude what time is it?" and then he answered himself "uhhh, silver?". Classic. Even the teens will admire.
