What a great watch! I received this as a Christmas gift and have worn it daily since. Movado watches are usually very classy, so it is no surprise that the Juro's simplistic design is both elegant, fitting in perfectly with a job situation, and practical: the watch dresses down easily when you pair it with "dressy" casual wear (think "Banana Republic dress shirt, untucked, worn over jeans") for going out. It keeps accurate time and is both thin and lightweight (for those of you who don't like watches that weigh 5 lbs). This watch looks far better in person than what the picture shows, and looks even better on your wrist!

br /This is a fantastic price on Amazon - most places sell for almost twice that much, and free shipping can't be beat. No sales tax is an added bonus, and the additional 5-year warranty is just cream on top.

br /Update August 23, 2008: I still have this watch, and I still wear it everywhere. I've moved to Sweden since my review and this watch still gets looks everywhere I go. A lot of men like watches with fancy dials and knobs, and don't get me wrong, I'd probably pick one up too if I could afford a $3000 Tag Heuer or Omega watch... but then my watch would look like everyone else's. Sometimes simplicity is all you need, and in a country known for its clean lines and modernity, this watch works perfectly.

This is the second watch that I have bought from Amazon. This watch arrived in 2 days, brand new, in all the original packaging. It definately looks better in person. I comparison shopped and all the major retailers are selling this watch for $695. Only one site is selling it for less than $695, and they want $450. I haven't given it to my boyfriend yet, but I'm sure he'll love it!

This is my second Movado. I wore the first one every day for about 5 years. The battery leaked (my fault for not replacing it) and damaged the movement, hands, and face. It would have cost me $350 to fix. (A word of advise, replace the battery every 2 years, even if the watch is still running).

br /The watch comes with all the original packaging, and manual. It is an original Movado. Since Amazon is not an authorize dealer, the factory warranty of 2 years is voided. However, Amazon warranties the watch for 2 years with a similar coverage to the manufacturer's.

I ordered this watch for my boyfriend for Christmas. It came packaged perfectly and he absolutely loved it. However, in March it stopped running true to time. He keeps trying to reset it with the current time, and 12 hours later, for example, only 2 hours on the watch will have passed by! I took it to a local jewelry store which sells Tag, Rolex, etc., and they checked the battery and said it was fine, so there is something wrong with the watch. Even though it was a greatly discounted price, it was still an expensive watch that I expected to last for a long time. Hopefully I can send it in to Movado and get it repaired, but even that costs at least $75.

First off, this is a very beautiful timepiece, even more so than the picture. It is relatively thin and, for the time that I have had it (appx 2 weeks) the actual time seems very accurate and doesnt really drift.

br /The reason that I gave this product 3 stars is due to the invisible clasp mechanism. It looks beautiful and makes the band look flawless but the locking isn't all that great. When I first got it, both ends would snap in fine for a great seal. After about a week, I noticed that either clasp would lock when placed first but, when the second clasp is pressed in, it doesn't snap in anymore. This is due to any minor misalignment that is causing the components to rub against one another when they are trying to make that invisible clasp and only one, not both, would snap into place. This caused the clasp that was not snapped in to come loose and have the watch dangle under normal wearing circumstances, sometimes spontaneously.

br /I have returned the product and ordered another in the hope that I received a fluke... again its a beautiful watch and I hope that my example is the exception as opposed to the norm.

My wife got this for me for Xmas and I love it! It replaced a 6 year old ESQ watch (with Movado guts and slim profile, just cheaper) which is banged up but still runs like a champ.

br /I like simple stuff and don't like gaudy jewelry. This watch is industrial and classy with a light, slim and comfortable profile. Add in a killer price and this is one great investment. So treat yourself, or your favorite guy to one of these - you'll/he'll be very happy!

Like many have said, this is a very beautiful watch. If you haven't already checked this out in a local jewelery store, you will be amazed when you actually see it for the first time. This watch is slightly smaller in size compared to its big brother, the Luno. Perfect for men who have smaller wrists. I was looking at this and the Luno, and chose this because it was smaller for my skinny wrist, and it had a cleaner look. Very classy look, but also goes well with casual wear and summer clothes. I have not had it very long but so far the time is perfectly accurate. The woven style pattern on the wrist band draws attention to the watch when wearing short sleeve shirts, but the classic Movado face catches eyes from miles away.

br /I took this watch to a few different mall-based jewelry stores to determine its authenticity. One jeweler glanced at it and said it was real, while another told me they weren't able to determine that in the store. Finally, I took it to a private local jeweler, where they opened the case and determined that this watch is genuinely swiss movement. So, for those of you weary, THIS WATCH IS A 100% SWISS MADE MOVADO. You just don't get the embossed warranty certificate from amazon.com.

My wife got this watch for me as a gift on our wedding day. The watch is simply stunning! There was ample room on the back of the watch for her to engrave a special message for me. The watch is light and very comfortable to wear. I love the watch!

The watch is beautiful, although, my friend had to have a link added to get the perfect fit. The watch may be a little small for a large guy, be prepared to have it sized.

I'm a 51 year old man and bought this for myself. It's beautiful and as a previous reviewer said it can be worn dressed up or with jeans. The face is not pretentiously large as many watches tend to be these days. I searched everywhere online and in stores and Amazon had by far the lowest price. Remember you will probably need to have it resized. I am 5'10" with average size wrists and I noticed when I got it resized at a jewelry shop ($15) they only took out two small links. So if you have very large wrists this band may be too small to begin with. Also Amazon is NOT an authorized Movado seller so you will get the 2 year Amazon guarantee which does not cover the band or crystal, just the inner workings against manufacturer defects. A nice watch for the price and so far I'm very satisified. Can't beat the price.

This watch is absolutely perfect! $339 is the best price anywhere. The free shipping worked out well (took 6 days). The watch arrived and it was packaged as new. All the plastic was on the watch, books included, etc. The sticker on the back indicates the battery should be changed in 2013 (which is 5 years from now), which proves that this watch hasn't been sitting around in a warehouse. The Amazon experience was exceptional. The watch looks so good, so exclusive for this price. I get compliments on this watch every day. Most Movado retailers are selling this watch for around $600. Great purchase and this should watch should last me a while.

Something about this watch just caught my eye when I saw it, and even after receiving it, I still can't quite pinpoint it. Regardless, the watch is simply beautiful, and feels great on your wrist. I was a little worried originally about being able to easily read it, but I found myself able to adapt very quickly. So long as you have a general idea of what time it should be, then reading the watch is very easy despite having only a single divet.

It is very nice. It is so comftorable that i forget that I am wearing it, and scratch it up. It is very nice though, the scratches are not noticable unless you look very closely. It was a perfect fit for me, just a little bit loose which is how I like them. Funny story.. When I opened the package the first night I only opened one of the clasp.. so I could not fit my hand in.. So I was trying to squeeze it in later trying to save myself from ordering extra links.. and while doing it I unlocked the other which made me very happy that it actually fit fine..

This is a very beautiful watch, I constantly look at it throughout the day and always keep it clean. It is brilliant in its simplicity. I guess if you need to know the exact minute when someone asks you the time, then this isnt the watch for you. But if you have to tell someone its 3:17 and not just round to 3:15 well then you have some problems of your own.

This is a great watch to start a Movado Collection. My boyfriend really wanted a Movado and I knew it would be an expensive gift. I own a few Movado watches and this is a great looking versatile everyday watch and Amazon has the best prices available. I would suggest that you be mechanically capable of making watch band adjustments as with all better quality watches it may need to be fit to your wrist.
