I own one of these watches and have worn it every day for 7 years now. The titanium gray color gives the watch a nice understated look, and the gold markings on black face is simple and uncluttered. The watch is so lightweight that sometimes I think I'm not wearing a watch and I must have forgotten to put it on. I've never had another watch that was this light and didn't fall apart after daily use. My friends are always suprised by it's weight.

I bought one of these when Seiko first started making this model. It has taken about 10 years of abuse as an everyday watch. Before Seikos, I was wearing Casio plastic watches. In the long run, a Seiko is cheaper by far. Rugged and simple, it is still reliable and accurate even though it has taken a terrible beating. It has worked in a steel mill, ridden dirt bikes and gone river rafting without any problems other than cracking the crystal about a year ago. It's tough!

I like a watch that is light, thin and in this case was looking for a casual watch with a metal band that would not absorb sweat as I worked out. This watch does all that and keeps great time too. The only other feature I would have liked is a light or white face (the black face is difficult to read at night). Overall a great purchase.

This is a beautiful timepiece. The titanium case and band have an inner sheen akin to that of gold bullion, and the lustrous metal both contrasts and harmonizes with the stark black of the watch face--with the latter affording a dramatic background for the gleaming-gold hour marks and watch hands. Accommodating only a date window, the face is a study in classic, restrained simplicity. The second hand precisely mates with the corresponding markings, and the piece has not (for the past one month, anyway!) lost or gained time, in any perceptible amount. It's also the lightest watch I've ever owned, and resizing the band is a cinch (though a strong hand helps). The lack of a fifth star for this review is owing to the fact that the face and hands are not readily visible in every type of lighting: direct, close downlighting, for example--such as that yielded by a desktop work light--sets up reflections that entirely obscure the watch face and hands; at such moments, a shift of the arm or wrist is required, to get a proper reading. (I suspect this is typical of all wrist watches with black or dark faces, although I don't know it for a fact.) Never mind that limitation, though: the piece is readily readable under the vast majority of conditions--and what a splendid view it is!

I bought this watch with a birthday gift coupon and I love this watch. I looked at many watches in the 75 to 200 dollar price range, I wanted Titanium for low weight and just a regular dial with no fancy digital funcitons. what I got was a very lightweight and beautiful watch, it goes with everything i wear, i dont even know i have it on sometimes, and it keeps good time. It was delivered fairly quickly and the adjustable band was easy to adjust and snaps shut tight with no loosening that i can see so far. I would reccomend this watch to anybody who wants a reasonibly priced lightweight and handsome watch.

This watch is one of the most comfortable watches I have ever had. It is very light but very rugged and easy to read dial.
