This elegant two-tone dress watch from Movado's Kara series has a bold Museum dial and a slender, graceful silhouette. The black dial has gold-tone Dauphine hands and single concave dot marker at the 12 o'clock position. This is Movado's signature dial, made famous by American designer Nathan George Horwitt in 1947. Horwitt intended his design to be evocative of a sun dial, with the dot representing the sun at high noon. The dial is framed by a round steel bezel. Graceful curved gold-tone lugs secure the case to a slender silver-tone bangle bracelet that fastens with a jewelry clasp. Other notable features of this watch include precise Swiss quartz movement and a highly scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. I ordered this watch on 8/21 for wife's birthday. I paid five bucks extra for quicker shipping as her birthday was/is 9/07 and I didn't want/need the stress of wandering if it would arrive on time with the free shipping. Anyway, it arrived in four days. Of couse, then I had to hide it for a week and a half. My wife loved the watch - the same one in the display case at Macy's is $495.00. I paid $252.00 with the expedited delivery. The five year warranty is from Amazon - not Movado. Another nice ordering experience with Amazon.

I have been searching on line for this Movado Watch...and I couldn't believe what a good price I got it for...I have been going on Ebay for quite some time...and this was the best price! I love my watch...and it arrived in perfect shape. Thank you for such a good experience.

Movado watches are nice watches but i recommend you buy elsewhere.
br /I ordered the watch for my wifes christmas present on Dec 5th but did not receive it until a week after christmas. When it came the crown to set it was frozen so we could not set the time. We send it back and received another one this one worked but it looked like someone ran sandpaper on one side of the band it was all scuffed up.
br /I wish I did'nt try and save money and spend the extra 200 dollars and bought it somewhere else at least I would have got a quality product that Movados should be.
br /This is my worst experience with Amazon but it only takes one like this to be a very disatified customer.

I purchased this watch as a Christmas present for a friend. My friend was absolutely delighted with it and can't thank me enough.. so much so..she is still thanking me now.. a month later!!! It is a beautiful watch..beautifully presented too. So glad i chose it.

The watch is nice - just as pictured and the value is good. However, when I received it, I was in a different time zone, and could not fix the time. I brought it to a Movado dealer listed in the book (which by the way was the wrong booklet for this particular style). And they argued with me about fixing the watch since the Warranty card was not signed and dated by the company who sold it to me. I did not appreciate the problem in receiving a new watch that was broken from the beginning, nor a warranty card proving it's purchase.
