I researched the price of this watch against other websites, jeweler websites, and local jewelery stores. Websites like (...) had the same watch for $20 more. Jeweler websites and the jewelers at the mall both sold the watch from $100-150 more.

This is a beautiful watch. It is clean, small, thin and beautifully designed. It is low tech AND I can read the time with or without my glasses as there are no numerals. The watchband is also simple and elegant. I bought it to wear "out at night" but find I am wearing it almost every day. It is unique in today's electronic world.

I've owned my Movado Moderno watch for decades. It is incredibly thin - its a shame that thinness isn't a data point listed in the product description. My watch has stood up to daily wearing and still works great.

I love the elegant simplicity of this watch. I can wear it with anything. Being 50+, I can easily see what time it is, and I couldn't say that for a lot of other watches I tried. One customer review stated they thought the band was cheap, but I like the plain black leather and it feels good on my wrist. I never thought I could own a Movado, but at this price, it was a no-brainer.

I recently purchased this for my wife, as she's always wanted a Movado watch. She has been pleased with the style, comfort function of this timepiece. And the savings were nice, too...

I have loved the Movado Museum watches for years due to their simplicity and elegance! I have wanted one for years (at least 25) and saw this on Amazon and decided to finally treat myself! It arrived and is in the original box and stylish case. It is well worth the purchase price from Amazon and no one knows! They will think you spent the full price! I love it, there are no other words. It is something that I will wear for important occasions as I have other watches, but it makes me smile just looking at the box sitting there!

I bought the Movado Moderna because I had seen one displayed in a retail store and thought it had such a striking look. And don't get me wrong, the watch face is beautiful, but the band is a piece of junk. I have had mine for a little over a month and only worn it a few times on dress up occasions and already the band is beginning to show signs of extreme stress. Now I wish I had spent the extra money and bought the same watch with a metallic band - which is probably what I will wind up doing when the band breaks - and it will break!

For me, the Movado Moderna is just the right touch- understated elegance. I treated myself to this gift and I don't do that often, if ever! But I had a Movado years ago, before batteries, and received many compliments on it. It served me well and I know that this new one will also. These watches are top quality.

This is an incredible value for a Movado timepiece, one of the lowest you will find for a new model. Delivery of the product was as promised, which came with the appropriate paperwork and packaging.

br /The owner of many timepieces, I sought a simple, classic timepiece to round out my collection. With a 26mm dial, the ladies' vesion is quite small, but suprisingly easy to read. The strap is soft, but is rather short, when compared with contemporary watch straps. If you have larger, than a 6.5 inch wrist, the band will be too small, and you will have to switch it out, which you probably might want to do anyway. The strap does not seem to be the sturdiest available. In fact, larger women might want to check out the men's version of this watch instead. The water resistance is only 3ATM or appoximately 100 feet--do not swim or bathe with this watch. You will be safe with splashes of water from rain drops or washing your hands, providing the crown is in. On a positive note, the watch is equipped with a sapphire crystal, which is not easly scratched,so it should look "new" for a long time. Even though the watch is suitable for many occasions, I wouldn't recommend it as a sport watch. Overall, the Museum watch is a good buy for those seeking an entry level Movado that is classic and timeless.

I had purchased this watch before and sadly lost it. It is a classic and the price is incredible. I have other Movado's and they are well into their 15th year. This is a winner.

My wife had wanted a Movado watch, but the women's museum piece version was not nearly as attractive as the men's. The Moderna watch has a very slender case, and with the black leather band is both elegant and sporty.

This watch was just as shown in the picture, thin, sleek and very comfortable. I wouldn't typically do a review but I was very impressed with Amazon as the purchasing agent b/c the watch was originally lost in the mail. While it meant it took longer to get, Amazon kept updating me on tracking of it and then sent out a new one at no charge.
br /That was definately the right thing to do from a customer service standpoint but I know of other online companies that would have made it much more frustrating and difficult to get the product so I am very pleased with Amazon and would definately purchase from them again :)

I actually lost my first watch and was very happy to see that Amazon also sold them. I was able to get the exact same model for half the price. I will only wear Movado. Very reliable and fashionable.

This watch is absolutely beautiful. Very simple but yet so classy. It arrived with a beautiful leather case, warranty, and instructions. I was debating between getting this and the classic and I must say that I am very pleased and happy that I chose this one. I hope that it will hold up to its name. The price was the very best I've seen anywhere, you just can't beat it. I thought I would have a great difficulty reading the time but I have not to my surprise. I would recommend this watch to anyone who wants a touch of class at a bargain price.

I don't know much about the performance of this specific model, but it's a watch my wife wanted and it made her happy on Christmas morning. That's all I really needed. If it performs as well as my Movado watch (which is quite well) then it's a bonus. The watch does look great and fits well. It's a classic beauty that I hope will give my wife pleasure for a while.

This watch is dam nice, I love to go dancing with My friend Mat Tobin, and his Lincoln does not have a clock or lights inside, so it just makes sense, when he put his hand on my leg I looked at the watch and knew it was time for hime to take me home, Matt is highly recomended, and the watch is nice to.
