Movado's signature Museum dial stands out beautifully against a background of all gold-tone polished stainless steel in this elegant watch from Movado's Amorosa collection. It features a round black dial with gold-tone Dauphine hands and a concave dot marker at the twelve o'clock position. This is the minimalist look made famous for Movado by American designer Nathan George Horwitt in 1947. Horwitt intended his design to be evocative of a sun dial, with the dot representing the sun at high noon. The dial is housed in a gold-tone steel case that measures 24mm in diameter, and it is framed by a perfectly round polished steel bezel. It presents on a beautiful gold-tone polished steel bangle bracelet that measures 6.5 inches and fastens with a jewelry clasp. Other notable features include a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and precise Swiss quartz movement. The watch was a birthday present for my wife. She had never worn a watch, saying none of them fit her. We had to take the watch to a jeweler to have the links removed. The watch fits her wrist well and is so light weight she says she doesn't know whe has it on.

I got this watch from my husband on Valentines(Feb, 07)... its a masterpiece. It looks better in reality, I was in tears when my husband opened box, even the box was beautiful. I love watches and have 7 name brand watches including Bulova but MOVADO experience is exclusive, its simple , elegant and graceful.
br /As this was surprise gift, later I asked my husband for packing and delivery and he said it was satisfactory. The watch comes with movado warranty card and amazon care instruction. For perfect fitting, I had to take the watch to a local jeweler to have couple of links removed. But please take it to certified personnel only.

Originally I bought a silver watch like this one at the jewelry store for my daughter. She loved it. Then I saw it on Amazon for much less at amazon. I didn't think it would be exactly the same thing but ordered one for myself in gold. It can in the same box as the one I bought at the jewelry store and was exactly thesame thing but cheaper. I will look to amazon in the future for my jewelry. The weatch, service, shipping couldn't have been better. I am very pleased with my purchase.

br /However, the warranty card was not endorsed by Amazon, leaving me with the possibility that Movado's 2-year warranty would not be available to me. Since Amazon's 30-day return policy was exhausted by the shipment's transit time, it appears that I am now be without any warranty whatsoever.

br /So I sent a query to Amazon almost one week ago - and to date have had no response or acknowledgment. This is making me kind of nervous. I have done quite a bit of business with Amazon, and have developed a measure of confidence in the company - a factor in making this most recent $300 purchase - the largest yet.

br /The possibility that Amazon may be playing the same "try and find me" game that is true of many online vendors is scary, to say the least. And if true would certainly make me think twice about future purchases from their website, regardless of the value of the item. Even eBay facilitates communication between buyer and seller, something I presumed would be equally true of Amazon. Was I in error?

br /I truly hope the fears I have expressed are groundless and that this coming week will bring a response and some assurance about the warranty.

This watch is so awesome. I love it and recommend it. It's really sharp. Amazon has unbelievable prices on the Movados. And to say another good word about Amazon -- I ordered this watch and it apparently got lost in the mail. The USPS told me it was delivered, but it never actually was. I contacted Amazon about this, and they immediately sent me another one, which arrived a couple days later. That is GREAT service. Thanks Amazon!

I recently purchased a Movado Women's Watch for my wife. It was in perfect condition, priced below what the Movado stores sell them for, and I had it in 2 days. The only concern I have is that the warranty card that comes with the watch must be stamped by a dealer in order to get the lifetime guarantee that Movado carries. If she ever has any problems with it, hopefully they will still honor it since it wasn't purchased at a dealer. But the money I saved was worth the risk.

I've always liked the style and quality of the Movado brand, and the Amarosa did not disappoint me. I purchased the Amarosa for my girlfriend's birthday, and she is very happy with her birthday present. She needs to get it re-sized for her wrist, but other than that, it's a Movado.

I echo the previous comments. This is a beautiful watch, very elegant, and the wife loves it. It's a bit big -- we had all of the links taken out, and it still fits a bit loose (though it is a bracelet watch). The price here is great. The warranty card is enclosed in the box, though not signed.
