The watch came beautifully packaged and the design is sleek and slim. It is very lightweight and the face is easy to read. I would buy another watch from this manufacturer.

I have some very expensive watches but they just are not comfortable to wear or they are too small and hard to see. This watch is every bit as nice as my $300 watches and looks nearly as nice as some of my way more expensive watches. It's not the thinnest watch I have, but it is quite thin and very comfortable to wear. It's easy to adjust and to put on, all by yourself. It's nice enough to wear as a dressy watch, but being stainless, it should be sturdy enough to wear every day. Mine is new so I don't have any long term experience with it, though I've read a lot of good things about this manufacture. I'm very please with my purchase, even though it did take a long while to get it, nearly a month because of backorder.
br /UPDATE: I've been wearing this watch 24/7 for weeks now. It is in perfect condition, not a scratch on it. I wear it in the shower, bathing the baby, sleeping, dressing; it's comfortable, doesn't catch on everything, keeps good time and is really nice looking. I get a lot of nice comments on the watch. It was a good buy.

I received this watch as a Christams present and am very happy with it. It is simple yet elegant at the same time. The workmanship is great and the limited lifetime warranty is very good as well.

Pros: It's gorgeous. Silver face and silver mesh band goes with anything. Looks much more expensive than it is. Beautiful, sparkly round diamond-like chips for the numbers. Lays flat against the wrist - not bulky and very comfortable. Easily adjustable band. Keeps good time.

Cons: No deal-breakers here, just things you might want to know ~ Not waterproof so you can't wear it in the shower. I have long hair and every once in a while it will catch in the mesh band. And no date display, if that's important to you.

This is my 4th Skagen watch and I won't ever buy anything else again! For the price, you can't beat the quality, workmanship and beauty of Skagen watches. I also own this exact watch in the goldtone and it is equally as attractive! I bought this model because it looks great. I paid $100 for it from one of the department stores. From the day I bought it the watch has lost about 10 to 15 minutes a day. I thought it was the battery so I replaced it for $10 but that didn't help. In order to get it repaired I had to send it to Skagen via special delivery which cost me $12 more. I checked my mail today and they sent me a letter asking for $8.95 for the cost of repairs or else I won't get the watch back. I'm trying to figure out why I'm being asked to pay for repairs for a watch that is clearly under warranty. I'll be calling them tomorow to find out. In the meantime.. don't buy a Skagen watch unless you like cheap junk and lousy service.

Bought this for my Wife for Christmas 2005. It looks very nice more than I paid for it actually. For what it cost I say its a very good watch. My Wife loves it. She loves the fact it looks good with her Business suits or her weekend t-shirt and Jeans attire. Very multi functional. Construction of the watch looks good and the acrylic box it came in looks fancy.

I love this watch! It has a very low profile, and looks very, very elegant. The crystals shine and sparkle. The mesh band is also wonderful--very comfortable.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because once while washing my hands I splashed water on it and condensation formed under the glass. It went away after a day, but I have to question the water resistance level. Now I just take it off when washing something or near water.

br /However, the mesh is a bit delicate for everyday wear. I don't know what happened exactly, but after a few weeks of wear the corner of the mesh strap caught on something and I got a really bad bend in the middle of the strap. Its impossible to shape it back together once this happens. And the threads of the mesh are super sharp when they come apart like this, so in addition to being obviously damaged, its unwearable.

I purchased this watch about a year ago after losing my first Skagen watch that I really liked. My watch is only exposed to water when I wash my hands...I always remove it to shower or swim, but somehow water penetrated the watch and tiny droplets were visible inside against the glass. After disappering a couple of days later, I though my watch was fine, but now I'm noticing that it isn't keeping accurate time. It has slowed 10 minutes and I'm sure it isn't the battery. Nice looking watch but obviously not water resistant.

I'm very pleased with this watch. I recently lost my previous Skagen watch and wanted to replace it with something similar. I settled on this model because of the mesh band and easy-to-read face. The crystals really add a touch of class, though--I think I like my new Skagen even better than my last one!

This is a beautiful watch that I am aesthetically pleased with.....HOWEVER, the advertising is WRONG. The Amazon Skagen page says that it is 100METERS deep water resistant and then in another place on this same page it says that it is 100FEET deep water resistant. But the truth is that it is not water resistant AT ALL. The watch comes with a tiny pamphlet that says the watch's water proof rating, stating that this information is printed on the back of the watch. The pamphlet also says that if there is nothing about water resistance written on the back of the watch ( meaning, doesnt say 100m/ 30m) then it ISN'T water resistant. Well, as it turns out the watch says nothing about water resistance and is thus NOT WATER RESISTANT. Bummer :(

My husband loves his Skagen watches, so I got one for myself. The ladies version is beautiful, very shiny, with tiny diamonds on the hours. Love the band, it's perfect.

I'm sure this is a fine watch, but I needed one with a date display. The Amazon specification says "Calendar: date" but there is no date display on the watch. The only ladies Skagen model I found with a date readout is 355SGSC.

This is a nice looking watch and very flat against the wrist. I like the style and size. It is not, however, water resistant as Amazon's decsription leads you to believe.

After normal wear (doing dishes, in the shower, etc.) water started to pool behind the face. I called the manufacturer and learned that this watch is NOT water resistant AT ALL. They don't reccommend getting it anywhere near water. Before buying a Skagen watch, you should check Skagen's website to learn its actual water resistance.

To Amazon's credit, they replaced the wet watch and paid for the shipping to send the old one back since it was their mistake to advertise it as water resistant to 100 meters. They have not, however, changed the description on the site.

Watch is beautiful, but we were very disappointed to discover that the owner's manual reads, "Please check the back of your watch for the water-resistant rating". The manual states that no marking indicates that the watch is not water resistant. This watch has no marking, even though the product description on Amazon states that it is water resistant.

This watch is terrific, a very versatile style at an amazingly low price. This is my second Skagen watch, and I have not yet been disappointed. Easy to wear, very adjustable, and just plain beautiful.

The Skagen Mesh Bracelet Watch is very classic. The round face is large enough to read without looking too big. The hands stand out against the silver face. The diamonds at the hour marks give just a little sparkle. The watch is thin and lays flat on the wrist. I have other Skagen watches and I love the brand and the quality. As I ma usually very hard on watches, I really did not expect a 58.00 watch to last me very long. Well, it has been over a year and it looks as good as new. My husband bought me a much more expensive watch for our 15 year anniversary. (traditional 15 yr. gift is crystal or a watch) It was too formal for me. He was kind enough to let me return and pick one I liked. I love the design and feel of this one. Adjusting the band really isn't that hard. The only dissapointment that I have with it is that the rim around the face scratches too easy. I've had it for 1 1/2 years and there are fine line scratches all the way around the rim from normal wear. ...but it's worth the price we paid. I still love it. Simple elegance.

Other reviewers are right, this watch looks great. It is nice and thin and the little diamonds sparkle but it is not too shiny or anything like that. The mesh band is easy to adjust and comfortable. I loved this watch so much that I bought two of them. I lost the first one at the Dallas airport only a day after it arrived in the mail from Amazon. It slipped off my wrist because I didn't use all three clasps in the safety catch. I've had my second watch for a month now and I've mastered the clasp. I love the style and the large face which is easy to read. The mesh band was easy to adjust to my wrist size. I'm careful with it around water because there is nothing about it that is water resistant--the only minus about this watch.

This is my second Skagen watch and I have loved both of them. My first one I had for three years before losing it on a trip. I loved it so much, that I asked for this one as a gift to replace the lost one. I like the fact that it is stainless steel. It never shows wear and stays nice and bright. Occasionally I wash it with a toothbrush and mild soap, if it gets too dirty. The best feature, though, is the fact that it is water resistent. I constantly wear this watch while swiming or working with water; in both fresh and salt water. The diamonds on the face have remained bright and sparkly and really shine when the sunlight hits them. The ONLY thing that I wish this watch had, is the date and a second hand. My previous Skagen watch had these features and I miss them with this one. But I can't complain too much about that since I knew those features where missing when I asked for it.

I purchased two such watches, one for myself, the other as a gift for a friend. Both of us like this Skagen watch very much! It is of elegant styling, easy time-reading and easy band-adjusting. I bought this as a gift for my wife. (I have the matching male version.) Many older reviews complained about poor clasps, but the clasps on these are good (a sort of double-locked mechanism), so my guess is that they have been redesigned due to the earlier problems.

I have had this watch for approximately 2 weeks. I saw it in the department store but was not willing to pay the triple digit price for it, so I turned to Amazon Marketplace. I read all of the reviews, and have tried to be careful not to expose the watch to water. However, in the mornings on two occasions, I have forgotten to remove the watch before showering. Luckily, there have been no issues, so, I assume it to be at the very least, water resistant. I have not submerged it - I'm not pressing my luck. I work in a hospital setting, so am washing my hands several times per day - no problems there either.

I was very disappointed with this watch. It looks cheap, fake, I'm not sure how to describe it. Skagen are know to be thin watches, this was not thin and the wrist band looked too silver as if it wasn't stainless steel. I had to return it, even though I paid a lot less than the department store. I will save up my money and get the 'real' thing.

This watch is a bit of a disappointment. The face is not as thin as I expected for a Skagen watch and the overall quality does not appear to be the same. My husband has a Skagen watch with a similar mesh band which is a better quality and it has a much thinner face. Also, the ring around the watch face is a darker grayish color and not silver/steel as I expected from the photo. The clasp is a bit difficult to open and close, but seems secure enough. I have not worn it yet so cannot comment on how it keeps time. It looks as though it will not wear well, but hopefully that will not be the case.

The watch is very nice. Great quality for the low price. Nice and thin. Very light weight. Didn't even feel like I was wearing a watch. It just wasn't my style. Too conservative I guess. Will be exchanging for something a little more bulky looking.

I am not happy with the watch. It is nice looking and it does tell time well. However, I thought the band would be expandable and it is hard and unyielding. It is firmly attached and so the band cannot be replaced with a flexible band. I also didn't notice that it didn't have a second hand. I probably will replace it at some time.

While the watch is very nice looking and comfortable, the crystal face of the watch cracked after a short fall to my bathroom floor. This happened a week after I bought it so needless to say I wasn't very happy. Doesn't seem to be a very practical, everyday sort of watch. Nice for a very gentle evening out :)
