I am very picky about watches. I got this one a year and a half ago. I wear it every day and take off when I get home in the evening. The glass doesn't have a single scratch! the clasp has some scratches - i spend all day at computer, resting my hands on the desk and sctratching the watch. Everything else is just perfect! It is two-tone, so you can wear it both with gold and silver. It is elegant enough for business dress and sporty enought for informal occasion. It suits a huge variety of outfits! The clasp is very secure, but convinient to remove yourself with one hand. The dial is matte silver and this adds more elegance. It's thickness is probably as described, but it looks a lot! thinner, because of design. I don't know how I finally got this one - as I said, I'm picky about watches - but I'm so happy I did and highly recommend this watch!

I bought this watch to replace my beloved 15-year old Skagen, which I wore almost daily. I have have several other watches from other brands that I bought to potentially replace my original Skagen and wear on occassion, but this is the only watch that I really need. It's sleek, beautiful, and versatile. It goes with all of my jewelry, whether silver or gold, modern or antique. I love the stainless steel band, which was easy to adjust to my exact wrist size. The watch face is the perfect size, with a nice presence - not too large or small for my somewhat small wrist. I couldn't be more pleased.

The watch was purchased for my wife's Valentine's Day gift. She love the the watch, but is allergic to the band which apparently is not stainless steel as the description had indicated.

br /I received the watch in the mail very quickly; it came in very nice packaging, worked right out of the box, and it looks gorgeous. It is very lightweight, but you can tell by handling it that it is VERY sturdy. The watch is nicely designed, but the face is especially beautiful. The dial is minimalist but elegant. It is really nice to look at something pretty when you need to know the time, rather than fishing your clunky cellphone out of your pocket or purse. I've actually gotten compliments on how thin it is from strangers. It dresses up a casual outfit and goes really well with more formal stuff, anything but black tie.

br /Edited to add: Somehow I cracked the glass face of the watch right down the middle very shortly after purchasing. (I honestly don't know how it happened, I must have slammed my wrist against the wall during a nightmare? Weird.) I emailed customer service on the Skagen website, and they very quickly agreed to waive fees for the new face, the service charge, and shipping/handling (would have been around $40, almost the price of the watch itself). I mailed the watch in broken and got it back a week later good as new for ONLY the cost of shipping it to their service center. GREAT customer service to match a great product.

Beautiful looking watch. Very POOR band design. If you have 5 extra minutes to fasten the watch every time you put it on--lucky you! I don't! I have a Seiko that I put on in 5 seconds. Also, there's NO SECOND HAND OR DATE on this watch. Amazon did a good job delivering on time. I returned it the next day and am waiting on a credit to my American Express card. Note: American Express is the very BEST in standing behind their customers if there is a problem with a particular charge! They will withhold payment and investigate your complaint or concern. I could do a commercial for them!!
