This sporty version of the classic Movado Museum dial watch offers understated style. It features a round, black dial with a single gold-tone dot at the twelve o'clock position. This is the minimalist look made famous for Movado by American designer Nathan George Horwitt in 1947. Horwitt intended his design to be evocative of a sun dial, with the dot representing the sun at high noon. The black dial of this sporty-looking women's watch is framed by a two-tone stainless steel bezel and presents on a stainless steel band with alternating silver-toned and gold tone links. The band fastens with an invisible single-locking clasp. This watch features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and Swiss movement. It's utterly unclear to me why this particular watch was cheap relative to many other stainless Movado women's watches. It looks great. Also, because none of the individual surfaces on the watch are expansive, the visual appearance of scratches over time is likely to be slight.

I love this watch. I needed a watch that I could wear while playing tennis and this one is perfect. The hidden clasp is great, I no longer cut my thumb when I hit a two handed backhand. And the Movado quality is as always terrific. This is my second.
